Renault are making nail polish for 'lady drivers' and it is as ridiculous as you would expect

IN A STRANGE move, Renault have announced that they will be releasing nail polish for ‘lady drivers’.
It sounds like a typical April Fool’s joke that a company would make – like when Dominos pretended they were launching a letterbox warmer for pizza, or when Tennants said they were making 100ml cans of beer. Those jokes never really work though because although these made up products are kind of useless, they could very easily exist in this world.
It’s part of a promotion for this small lady car, the Renault Twingo.

Which looks exactly like the type of car that someone would put eyelashes on.
Whoops!

It’s beginning to make sense now, because the type of person who would buy car eyelashes is probably the same type of person who would like ‘lady driver’ nail polish.

This is very reminiscent of that time Homer accidentally bought a ‘women’s car’ in The Simpsons that had a lipstick holder instead of a cigarette lighter. This one would obviously have nail polish in place of the lipstick.
The car manufacturer has come up with this idea in an attempt to create an “original accessory that combines Renault’s style while making life easier for vehicle owners”.
Guys… There may be a reason why nobody invented this before. Have they ever met a real woman? Did they bother asking if anyone actually thought this was necessary?

If someone really did want to match their nails with their car, there’s nothing wrong with that.
Do what you want, but there’s no need for Renault to launch this product when there are plenty of shops full of more nail polish colours than any individual could go through in their entire lives.

Here’s the best part.
It’s not only for your nails but it can also be used to touch up any scratches and scrapes you get on your car, because you are a female driver after all. Everyone knows female drivers are the worst! (Despite the fact that statistics really suggest otherwise).
It’s a real shame that men who scratch their cars will have to just deal with the unsightly marks simply because Renault decided this product is for ladies only. That’s unless they go out and buy a 400ml aerosol can of touch up paint that costs €2 less than this tiny bottle of paint.
